The film tells about four people trapped in the middle of a deserted Central Russian plain, trying to figure out how they got here and how to return to civilization.
Through tense relationships, political and personal contradictions of the characters, through friendship, nightmares and mini-adventures, the characters of the film embark on an exciting journey through Russian fields and forests. The mysterious ending of the film becomes the answer to their questions.
